Basic question: sc- vs. sc+ - (Jul/08/2011 )

Hey,

I've seen this a few times now, but can't figure out what it should mean.

Seen knockdown experiments where they use sc-, sc+, GOI- and GOI+. (GOI=gene of interest).

But what is the difference between the + and -? Would I see a knockdown only in GOI+ or in GOI+&-?

thank you :)

All those abbreviations are not standard. You should be able to find what they represent in the paper where they appear.

Ok. Thanks.

I'll try to find out.
