How many cells in plant embryos ? - seed biology (Jul/02/2011 )

Hi all,

I am interested to know how many cells make up an embryo within seeds of different plants, in particular maize and other crops?

I would like to make a comparison for an educational project called a primer on seed biology which I am developing.
