Reference genes - (May/25/2011 )

Hi everyone,
I have a question about reference genes. Why when I design assay for some gene the primer sequence are different when I use different reference gene. I thought that primer sequences for my target gene are the same no matter which reference i use.

u are comparing different genes ... so ,by default, there will be different primers ...
right ?

I'm comparing different reference genes with the same target gene and primer sequences are different for the target gene depending on reference gene. I don't change target gene but I change reference gene and then I have different primers for my target gene.
