How to obtain a standard density of 2 Log cfu/ml - (May/09/2011 )

Hi i have to grow bacterial cells up to 2 log cfu/ml . I know that the OD value is 1 when the no. of cells is 10^9 cfu/ml. How do i get 2 log cfu/ml? Please help me out.

I do not understand what you mean?

the growth of bacteria can be written down as: N (number of cells)= N0 (start number of cells,lets take 1 here) * 2^X (with X number of divisions).

So is your question to write 10^9 cfu/ml in terms of 2^x ? or?
