How to identify fibroblast characteristic - (Apr/26/2011 )

I want to characterize primary fibroblast from cholangiocarcinoma tissue. and i found the upregulation of vimentin and ASMA by immunocytochemistry.
I can not seperate fibroblast from cancer cell-EMT. Could someone suggest me about the indicator for distinguish this fibroblast ? And I wonder that how different charateristic between fibroblast and cancer-EMT?
