Culture of mouse macrophages - Protocol (Apr/14/2011 )

Hi, I'm need of a protocol for peritoneal extration of mouse macrophages isolation and culture.

If you need monocytes, just inject PBS and retrieve the fluid. If you need activated macrophage, you can follow the paper by Parker (J Immunol 142 (1989), pp. 537–542), and take out the fluid after 24-48hr instead of 6hr.

And after this, how can I isolate and do a culture ?
