Which cells to use ? - Chang liver or normal breast cells ? (Apr/03/2011 )

Hi , im about to conduct a study on the effect of certain plants on breast cancer cells ( MCF-7).

im all ready , but i dont know which cells to use as my control , chang liver cells or non cancerous breast cells ?

both hae their advantages , but i dont now which to choose .

Any suggestion and you reasons for choosing that cell ?

Surely a tissue match is a good place to start... therefore I would go with the breast line. Or, if you have enough resources and the liver line has already been characterised, then you could do both.
