Thats more then being spoiled...
The person is responsible for other things as well like sample collection, autoclaving. But for me, I am just happy that somebody is filling my tip boxes.

Yep I do draw with tips but no when picking up them (i do in order from left to right and from top to bottom), but when i'm filling the boxes i do it random, in diagonal,zigzag,etc. For me filling the boxes is a kind of therapy so I do it unless there is not much time and the students do it for me.
I think that yes there is a relation between experience and neurotic, have been working at labs for 14 years and I'm pride neurotic

haha my dear friend... no worries, after all, she got no money to pay me after this month.
anyway I had filled up all the blank space...the box is now on the EtBr bench... lolx
i am an ambidextrous old girl. i use my tips
bottom to top, right to left when pipetting rightie.
bottom to top, left to right when pipetting leftie.
it bugs the crap out of me when people take random tips from a box, because i count my tips when i fill tubes/wells.
it also messes them up if i need to use the mulichannel.
i'm not neurotic. i just like my things in order...which is why at the end of the day i wash my bench with 70% ethanol, then water, then clap my hands three times.
it's harder to catch sarcasm in lowercase, isn't it
