Toll-like receptor 2 & 4 - (Mar/16/2011 )
Dear all,
I'm doing some experiment focusing on TLRs signaling recently, but I'm new to this area. Hope someone can help me clarify my stupid questions
Since TLR2 and TLR4 are all activated in response to LPS. I am wondering if you treat cells with LPS and monitor the downstream signaling, how could you know(/tell) the activation of downstream is via TLR2 or TLR4?
Many thanks

Check these
and in general: I assume they use gene knockouts ?
If not, I have no idea how to make the distinction (if they indeed respond to the same ligand like you said)
But maybe you need to ask this in a different subforum... its not really microbiology, its more immunology I think.

thanks for your reply~
