low sequence complexity - (Mar/12/2011 )
What does low sequence complexity mean after bisulfite conversion?
-Boba-
After bisulfite conversion, all unmethylated cytosines and non-CpG cytosines become uracil and then thymidine upon PCR, so the sequence is extremely cytosine depleted and contains many long stretches of thymidines, a feature known as low complexity.

thank you!
