mCherry propagation - (Feb/24/2011 )

Has anyone here working with mCherry - specifically pG-cherry-mGr and has a problem in transforming them? because I've been trying to transform them and the colony just refuse to grow. I'm using alpha select cells. Thanks in advance

You want to know what bacteria were used? I don't know pG nor mGr and I don't know what form we received the mCherry in, at this time. You did a control transformation with pUC18? You sure you're using the right antibiotic?
