what the different between mean and geo-mean in FACS analysis - (Jan/18/2011 )

May i know what's the different between the 'mean' and the 'geo-mean' in FACS analysis? are they the same thing?

i would say, with "mean" they are referring to the arithmetic mean and with "geo-mean" to the geometric mean. the geometric mean is explained here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geometric_mean
