I am trying to figure out how to measure the corticosterone release by cells in culture when stimulated by agonists, and I need help figuring out how a liquid scintillator measures this.

you use liquid scintillation to measure radioactivity (beta emitters, gamma emitters with a special liquid scintillation fluid).

you would use a radioactive probe.
