Referee suggestion : The sequence of this gene from yeast should be compared with the sequences of the genes from other microoganisms (especially from other sources of yeast strains).
what can I do now? Help needed.thanks!

You need to look up your gene on NCBI and find the sequence from other organisms and align them to identify regions that are highly conserved or highly divergent. I generally use ClustalW (free online) for multiple sequence alignments.
