densidometric analysis with scans - no gels available!!! (Jun/19/2010 )

hey people... does anyone of u know of a software or sumthing (if yes the company to comtact) tat can quantitate my bands without a gel??!!! :blink:

wat i mean is i have only scans of the gels and the gels were discarded by mistake!!!
we anyways dont have a gel doc system so i m not aware if these systems can do such stuff!!!

i think Quantity-One (Biorad) should do the trick ...but i'm not sure!

I remember using a programm from Amersham (now GE) for the task you describe some years ago ...but i do not remember the name ...i can check that once i'm back in the lab on monday!

...just came back to my mind ...the name is ImageQuant TL ...here goes the link!
