How to choose a flow cytometer - (Jun/16/2010 )

Hi all,
I've recently been to a congress in which several flow cytometers were exposed.
As you can imagine, every business agent said that his cytometer was better than others...
Since I'm not an expert in this field, could anyone tell me what are the features
you have to take into consideration to buy a good cytometer?
Suppose that you don't want to buy a sorter and you need no more than 10 colours.

BD Canto II (3 lasers, 8 colors) or Coulter Gallios (3 lasers, 8-10 colors) is your choice.

Basically, the main idea for a cytometer selection is to have 2 colors more than you plan to use in your staining panel now.
