Freezing PCR product??? - (Jun/07/2010 )

I'm working on high GC content bacteria and am going to be doing a number of T-RFLP runs. I want to store my PCR product at -20oC, prior to doing the restriction enzyme digest and sending off for analysis. I am aware that you can get really bad sequencing results from PCR product that has been frozen prior to sequencing.

What are peoples' opinions or experiences at storing samples that will go through RE digest and/or chromatographic analysis.

Cheers

-20 storage for PCR product shouldn't be a problem for restriction digest.

As for sequencing. i believe 1-2 months are OK.

once i sent a 1 year old product out for sequencing.. that's pretty much a mess
