Hello, can somebody tell me how to prepare 25μg/ml ascorbic acid? What should I dissolve it in?

Very little information, but most of the time you will dissolve it in water short before you use in the test because it will rappidly be oxidized by air

Thanks for your reply. I wanted to use the ascorbic acid to make 20% FBS medium (DMEM + FBS + ascorbic acid). I was wondering because if I dissolve it in water, the basal DMEM would be diluted and the concentration will change. Is it OK?

It's my my field of work but if i'm correct DMEM is a water based solution then dissolve the ascorbic acid directly into the medium.

We dissolve in DMEM. It may depend on which form you have, but the active form is very light sensitive. We do store them in dark eppendorfs once dissolved at -20. Do not refreeze. Hope it helps
