phospho - blots - no phospho safe inhibitor added (Mar/18/2010 )

Anybody has an idea if I will get phospho - porteins on blots with out the addition of phospho safe inhibitor to the lysis buffer.

I added the lysis buffer with complete protease inhibitor and immediately added the sample buffer, but did not added the phosphatase inhibitor.

Will I get phosphorylated proteins on my blots?

Maybe is the only answer that can be given. Personally I think it is unlikely that you will see the phosphorylated proteins with out phosphatase inhibitors added.
