DNA stains - pronunciation question (Jan/31/2010 )

Could anyone please tell me do you read the letters for DAPI or say dapi?
Also how do you say Phalloidin particularly where the emphasis syllable is and how many syllables there are?

I say DAPI as a word rather than an acronym.

Phalloidin- FELL-oi-din
