PCR troubleshoooooting - primer dimer (Jan/14/2010 )

Hi all,,Iam amplifying specific gen by PCR, I got the product last time ,,but know i got two band , i think of the primer dimer,,what is the solution? is it contamination issue? :blink:

Hey, it would be better if you also put the gel pic. need more details. What is the size of the other band?? maybe, last time u did the PCR, the extra band was there, running close to ur desired product and u didnt resolve it well enough (and therefore it appeared as a single band)....
