RBC Lysis of Rodent Peripheral Blood - which protocol? (Jan/13/2010 )

Wich protocol do you use to lyse Red Blood Cells on Peripheral Blood Samples?

Is it better with double distilled water ( how many ml?) or with ACK lysing buffer?

I like pharmlyse from BD, except I double the time of the protocol. works very well.
