drug been exposured to UV and left in hood O/N - Can that drug work as before? (Jan/09/2010 )

Hi all,
A freshman of my lab had an accident that he left our stock 500mM sodium butyrate in the hood overnight and another student lighted UV

in the hood the next day morning for not seeing that drug in it. And i wander whether that drug can work as before. Thank you!

Why take the chance of using it? I'd make a new stock.
