Rotor Gene 3000 and Rotor Gene Q - (Dec/15/2009 )

Hi everyone,

I am interesting about diagnostics kit which use real-time PCR technology.
The kit's instruction suggests us to use rotor gene 3000, but I have Rotor-Gene Q may it replace ?

More Information, the detection of amplified DNA fragment is performed in fluorimeter
channel FAM with the fluorescent quencher BHQ1. In addition, the kit contains a system to identify
possible PCR inhibition by measuring the VIC/JOE fluorescence of the internal control (IC).

Could I use Rotor-Gene Q ?

Thank you for your help.

Check your manual if the channels are present.
