p53 +/- matched-pair tumor cell lines? - (Dec/06/2009 )
Hi,
IŽll try to test some new antitumoral compounds in cytotoxicity assays. Hopefully these compounds will have an antiproliferative activity against p53 Null cells. Is there any matched-pair cell line available so we can test our compounds on p53 positive tumor cells and p53 mutated/Null cells? Thanks in advance!

There's some HCT116 cells around that are isogenic (I think), though they do contain some of the isoforms of p53, so p53 may still have partial function.

You have MEF p53 (-/-) and MEF wt. You can use as well H1299 p53 null cells
