Interpreting a Plasmid Profile gel photo - (Dec/01/2009 )

Hello all,

I performed a plasmid isolation for Staphylococcus schleiferii and ran it under gel electrophoresis, one with RNase and the other without.

I am observing a very bright band for both lanes on the top, about 16.2 kbp measured against the supercoil ladder

And then I see some about 2~3 faint bands for the plasmid lanes from mid-to-bottom range

Now I am having trouble interpreting what those faint bands are. are they other plasmids that Staphylococcus schleiferii has or is it possible they are chromosomal DNA that did not get isolated?

Most probably the bands are super coiled, coiled and relaxed forms of the plasmid

so then will the supercoil one be the least bottom one, the linear the middle one, and the nicked the top one?
