Plotting curves with different scales in the same graph - (Oct/30/2009 )
I want to plot in the same graph two curves corresponding to two drugs' dose-response curves. The problem is that the concentrations are very different (nM values for drug A and microM for drug B...). How can I put these 2 curves in only 1 graph, but with a logarithmic scale in the x axis?
I'm using Excel or Statview or SPSS...
Thanks!

You can change the scale of your axis in Excel by double clicking on it and then marking the option logarithmic scale.

In Excel - double-click on plot to open "Format data series" window, then choose "Axis" and pick "Secondary axis".

Thanks for the answers. I'll try it.

It worked. However, Excel created another y axis for the 2nd curve. But, what I want is a 2nd scale for the x axis. Thanks again and I hope you can help me.
