Compound Screening - Library screening approach (Oct/24/2009 )

Hello,

I have a metalloenzyme that I am trying to find inhibitors for.
There are a number of vendors for screening libraries, but these usually have "general" compounds that aren't geared towards things that will stick to metals (and thus inhibit!) my enzyme.

Does anyone know of any screening libraries geared towards metalloproteins?

Thanks

Not really, sorry - but two spontaneous candidates, H2S and Nitric oxide (both known to bind to metals rather well) are probably not suitable for a library since they are gases (and respective donor substances are therefore not stable in solution).

Anyway: interesting screen - I was thinking of doing something along those lines (inhibitors of MMPs) but never got to it..
