Saccharomyces - (Nov/11/2004 )

Hello!
I´d like to know How many Saccharomyces are there in a mg. of deshidrated comercial product. I´ve a comercial pastille of 20gr of dry Saccharomices and I´ve no idea of How many cells there are.

If someone can help me...I don´t need to know the exact number but an aproximatly one.

there could be around 10^6 cells per mg of ur sample i suppose. u can do a plating on YPG agar after diluting in YPG broth and check for the titre.
