cos-7 cells transfection using calcium phosphate - (Nov/08/2007 )

Hi,

I need to transfect cos-7 cells using calcium phosphate transfection,I tried it first yesterday w. standard protocol,however, the efficiency is really low

should I use glycerol shock or other treatment to enhance efficiency? much thanks!

Calcium phosphate transfection always needs optimization. Try it a couple of more times with different conditions. Also try HBS with different pH levels.
