The sensitivity of MSP - (Dec/27/2005 )

Hi,pcrman,now I have been doing the MSP study.I have got beautiful bands with primers designed

by Methprimer in the positive and negative cell line.The next step i want to do is to check out the

sensitive of the MSP.Could you tell me how to do ?Or What i should do next after I got the bands

Hello,

Do you mean you want to confirm whether the MSP results are true?
I think for every new pair of MSP primers, the result has to be confirmed by bisulfite sequencing using BSP primers that cover the MSP region.

The bands already tell you the methylation status of your samples. bands from M pair means methylation, from U pair unmethylation.
