Anyone know of free-use Fluorescent proteins? - (Oct/24/2005 )

I thought they lost the exclusive rights for producing GFP...now anyone can acquire it for free.

Indeed, Same here! I am just a humble DNA-loving molecular biologist. Dang all these legal issues. Actually if you can send some that would be great! Of course I will have to check the whole patent thing before being able to use it but that shouldn't take too long. Thanks!
