immediacy index - what does it mean? (Feb/16/2009 )
Hello,
I was checking the journal impact factors list and I came across a score called immediacy index. what does that mean?
does it mean that if the number is higher, the acceptance is quicker?

thank you hobglobin,
so the immediacy index has got nothing to do with response time from the journal editors that your submitted manuscript is accepted or not. I don't want to wait for 6 months to know whether my paper is accepted or not. hope they accept it soon.
