Each kit contains: * Cy5 dye activated ester * Cy3 dye activated ester * Dimethylformamide for the labeling The structures of both dyes were adjusted during research phase to match labeled protein gel mobilities. The labeling levels of the dyes are equalized during manufacture. Each kit contains exactly equal amounts of dye activated esters. This ensures equal labeling levels for different samples. |
