siRNA transfection in cardiomyocytes - siRNA transfection in neonatal cultured cardiomyocytes (Sep/29/2005 )

I want to transfect predesigned siRNA(ambion) in cultured cardiomyocytes. I am aware that transfection efficiency is very low in this cell type. Can anybody suggest which transfection reagent should I use to get maximum efficiency. I am planning to use silencer siRNA transefcion regent from Ambion. is it suitable? do anybody know any tip or trick to get efficient transfection in this cell?

My lab has been using RNAicarrier (Epoch Biolabs) to transfect siRNA on cardiomyocytes with satisfactory and consistent results. In addition to Ambion's, I think you may need to test this reagent too.
