HELP! eliminating A overhangs - (Aug/10/2005 )

Hi all,
I am trying to eliminate A ovehangs from a PCR product (done with Taq). I do not currently have Klenow or T4 polimerase to fill in, but I´ve heard that leaving the tube with the sample at room temperature overnight will help getting rid os the adenines.
Would this work?

Hi, I'm not sure, but I don't think this would work as I have happily left PCR product on bench O/N and gone on to do TA cloning. Use Pfu polymerase to fill in the gaps. Why do you want blunt ended products?
