pestilential of hplc system - hplc problem (May/25/2005 )

I'm trying to work out why during the "production" of 65% methanol gradient air bubbles are forming in my hplc system....
I think it's not the problem of any leakage because when I'm setting the flow only of methanol or only of buffer I can not see any bubbles....

Please give me your sugestions....

did you properly degas your solutions? E.g. by bubbling with helium?

degasing can also be done by keeping it uder a vaccum pump and using magentic bead stirrer .
