Question about fixation - (Jan/12/2009 )

Hi everyone,
For normal tris tricine gels or tris glycine gels, do i need to fix my peptide in the gel after the run ?
my peptide is around 10kD.
When do i need the fixation ?

you need to fix at all times except when you are going to transfer or elute the protein.
