Novagen pet 32 Ek/LIC vector - (Oct/28/2008 )
Hi GUys! I am currently using the abovementioned vector for protein expression. However, it is supplied as a cut vector and hence cant be propagated. Has any tried propagating this so that it doesnt have to be purchased every 20 reactions?!
Any assistance is much appreciated, thanks!

WHAT?! Are you trying to undermine the very infrastructure of the free-market?
Have you considered making a short adapter to ligate the two arms? Make sure to add a RE site in the middle, if you do, or see if they have used one of those weird enzymes that cut separate to the recognition sequence.

Yes I have! but it seems it is not going to work with normal restriction enzyme digestion as its going to be difficult to match the ends perfectly.. sigh.. havent looked through the "wierd" restriction enzymes yet..guess i'll try and do that. Thanks anyway!
