Appeal - (Oct/15/2008 )

We submitteb papaer to one journal and they rejected the paper and resubmission is not allowed and they have given the right to make an appeal for the reviwer comments. If an appeal is make and questions are ansawered does there is any chance that paper can be accepted.
Does some one have an experience of making an appeal .I shall be very thankful to you for your kind reply.

Once we submitted our paper to a top-tier journal, after two revisions, it was rejected with two reviewers giving very positive comments and one negative. So we appealed. The editor took our appeal seriously but did not change his decision. In his final letter, he told us he sent our paper to two more people for review and they were not convinced.
