Hi everyone!
I will graduate next year, so I plan to apply for Ph.D position in Europe.and firstly i must contact to professors.
However I have no idea about how can i write my C.V or cover letter to introduce myself about my research background.
Many problems about it! Is there someone have experiences on that?
Any input will be highly appreciated!!

introduce yourself shortly, and talk about your motivations; do not forget to summarize your methodically experience; make your cover letter not too long; and no grammar or spelling mistakes, please; letters should be written individually, and not as a circular letter...
your CV should be complete; most appreciate a personal photograph
p.s. most bigger universities or clinics in Europe have special PhD programs for people from outside; apply for them, and wait for an invitation to an interview;

have to disagree with bearer here. if you are applying to england do not include a photograph unless specifically asked for.

i'm in england. and i sent a CV with my picture on it, which helped my boss recognize me at the train station. i guess it depends on the person you're contacting.

yes, she's a really nice person! i'm liking it here a lot. excellent labmates, not too bad weather (as good as it can get ), and the food is not bad, actually you can get any kind of food you want! honestly i don't think i can complain about anything
