I wonder where can I find the MW of bands stained by ponceau, or the prot. can be stained by it?

Ponceau non-specifically stains all proteins. Samples from different experiments/systems/conditions contain different protein profiles so the bands on a ponceau stained membrane will be different. There is no standard MW that I know of and ponceau is not intended to be a MW marker. Rather, it is used to see that a transfer was successful and didn't have bubbles. Some use it as a crude loading control but generally this isn't an accepted method.
