Where can I buy high quality synthetic peptides at a reasonable price? - (Nov/05/2007 )
Hi,
I've just had a disappointing and expensive experience with commercial peptides, so I'm pretty desperate for advice.
I need a few custom peptides (20 amino acids in length), about 1 mg of each, and of at least 95 % purity with internal modifications (acetylation and methylation).
For my assay method it's very important that the net peptide content is known, preferably without extra charge.
I still haven't found a company that can make such peptides AND that perform amino acid analysis without additional fee (or at a low cost) except for large quantities.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
