lyzozyme digest - HPLC - HPLC digest Lyzozyme (Jul/28/2007 )

Dear all,

it would be nice, if somebody could help me with the follwoing problem.

I analysed a lyzozyme digest, digested with trypsin by RP-HPLC. First of all, I injected the undigested lyzozyme. Now I saw two peaks. I think, that both peaks are peptides, since both peaks decrease in size, when I analyse sample after trypsin digest.

Is it possible, that the lyzozyme broke down by some reason before addition of the trypsin itself???

Thanks for answers!!!

Greetings

Stefan

Maybe this protein presents in dimerized and monomer forms in your sample?
