Hi Iv been having real difficulty in finding information on this question:

Q) What are the mechanisms for surviving extreme temperatures in microorganisms?

Does anyone know any websites with information on this? any suggestions or answers to the question will be appeciated...THANKS.

Here is a hint: have you heard about the term PCR? Guess which polymerase does this method use and from which bacteria was it discovered?
