GST and His tagged proteins - Does the GST give problems in His tag purification? (Mar/21/2007 )

My proteins are GST and His tagged - can I just make a His tag purification on these?

I have just purified a protein using the pet42a vector from Novagen. This contains both GST and His is easily purified using Ni-NTA beads.

one should be able to purify using nickel columns.
