IDDM solved - sensory neurons are playing a very important role :) (Feb/10/2007 )

I find this article very interresting. There is a vicious cycle, between pancreatic B-cells and sensory neurons invervating this cells. Article was published on january, 15, 2007. Long time, we didnt know that B-cells and VIP secreted by sensory neurons are dependent on each other . . . , UNTIL NOW smile.gif The less insulin secreted, the less VIP production and thus again, less insulin production . . .
