IHC staining - (Jan/13/2007 )

I stained paraffin sections with PECAM (DAB staining-from vector labs)- countaining with H/E---my hematoxylin stained very weakly--but I'd alreday cover-slipped the sections--
I was wondering if I can rehydrate the sections and stain it again with hematoxylin.
Will the the Pecam staining (DAB) dissolve?

If u think ur hematoxylin staining is weak and u should go ahead with restaining with hematoxylin, the DAb staining would b preserved. But try to optimise the hematoxylin staining so that u dont have to repeat it.
