hi there,

i've designed a nice pair of primers for human insulin receptor which have no secondary structures but the amplicon size is only 67bp.... is this too small? i was originally told that 75 was the smallest i should use?

I work with products at the size around of 65bp, and also found sb conduct real time PCR with ~55bp amplicons
