hello every one


i prepare competen cell with TSS buffer and i need to know if my competen cell got contamination or not is there any way to know a bout it

yeah, sure

streak some on a plate and check for morphology; do a gram stain, etc.

in addition i would do plates with antibiotic. 1 for amp, 1 for tetracyclin, 1 for kana for zeo etc...
